Farmington Marriott Presented by: The Connecticut Women’s Alliance A full-day conference filled with speakers, panels, workshops and exhibits designed to inspire women to courageously pursue their true purpose. April 3, 2011 The Spicy Green Bean Deli Run Diva Run! Glastonbury Community Center Hosted by: The Glastonbury River Runners The Glastonbury River Runners Club is hosting a 5K run to benefit Team Towanda! Designed for divas and the people who love them, this event is SO Towanda! (Tiaras optional, ladies). Our bosom buddies at The Spicy Green Bean Deli & Catering have signed on as the lead sponsor. [2] We are still seeking additional sponsors, volunteers, & help at the Team Towanda booth so grab a buddy and sign up! Everyone is welcome! In addition to the 5K run, there will be a 5k Walk and a kids’ Fun Run. Sparkles the Clown will be on hand for the kids and it promises to be a very fun, family oriented event. For more info, email

April 2012 Team Towanda FUNdraiser Wethersfield Community Center Same place, new date! Stay tuned for more details on the next Team Towanda FUNdraiser to be held in April 2012. One of the reasons for moving it to April is that everyone is already very aware of Breast Cancer in October. Breast Cancer prevention is 24/7/365. EVERY month should be Breast Cancer awareness month. Go to to make sure you are up-to-date!
